The KPB385-60 series is a Type 3/Class III Surge Protection Device (SPD) engineered for final-stage protection in low-voltage AC power systems. With a maximum discharge current of 60 kA (8/20 μs), this SPD delivers targeted defense against residual voltage surges that may pass through upstream protection stages.

Featuring a compact modular design, it responds in 25 ns to suppress transient overvoltages, preventing equipment damage, data loss, and potential fire hazards. The KPB385-60 is perfectly suited for third-level (Stage 3) surge protection in single-phase and three-phase power systems. It is commonly installed close to sensitive end equipment.

Installation and Maintenance of AC Power Surge Protector (Type 3, 60 kA)

- Installation must be carried out under power-off conditions. Secure the surge protector KPB385-60 and circuit breaker to the rail respectively, and connect L, N, PE, etc. as shown in the diagram.

- Regularly check the working status of the surge protector. Replace the product immediately if it fails or is damaged.
