Surge protectors include AC and DC power supply lightning protectors, signal lightning protectors, feeder lightning arresters and smart lightning protectors, etc. Power lightning arresters can be applied to various AC and DC power supply and distribution systems. Signal lightning arresters are suitable for common signal lines such as network cables and RS485. Feeder arresters are suitable for the protection of radio frequency lines in communication base stations. Intelligent lightning arresters are mainly used for Surge number recording and lightning arrester failure monitoring, etc.

Types of Surge Protective Device SPD

  • The LMS1000-S100, based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, is capable of online monitoring of the on-off status of surge protective devices (SPDs), the status of air switches, and the number of lightning strikes on SPDs.
  • Power surge protectors are mainly used to protect low-voltage power supply and distribution systems, including AC power supply and distribution systems and DC power supply and distribution systems. AC power supply and distribution system lightning protectors are suitable for different power supply systems such as TT, TN and IT, including single-phase and three-phase. The working voltage covers 100-480VAC. The products range from T1 level to T2 level. T1 level Iimp can reach 50kA, T2 Level Imax can reach 160kA. The electrical equipment to be protected includes IP cameras, Wireless APs, Flow meters, PLCs, Industrial switches, etc. Common interfaces include RJ45, PoE power supply, RS485, and analog signal. The maximum transmission rate is up to 1000Mbps, Imax is up to 10kA, the maximum port is up to 24 ports, and the installation method supports rail-mounted, rack-mounted installation, etc.
  • RF arresters are mainly used to protect the antenna interface of RF signals. Common equipment includes wireless APs and communication base stations. The frequency range of RF arresters covers 0-5.8G. Common interfaces include SMA, BNC, N, DIN, etc., and Imax can reach up to 60kA.
