The power connection cable is mainly used for power supply between each port of the PDU and the equipment. It should be noted that the connectors at both ends of the connection cable need to match, and the wire diameter needs to meet the power supply current requirements of the equipment.
The cable has a large wire diameter and a large cross-sectional area, which is higher than the standard required for the rated operating current;
The copper core of the cable is made of high-quality phosphor bronze, which has excellent electrical conductivity, is not easy to heat, and is not easy to age;
The cable insulation layer and sheath are made of high-quality flame retardant materials, which are not easy to burn and have low toxicity;
The connectors at both ends of the power cord can be customized according to user needs. Conventional connectors include C13, C14, C19, C20, NEMA and other different plugs and sockets.
The interfaces at both ends of the power adapter are respectively connected to the socket of the PDU and the socket of the equipment, depending on the standards of the sockets at both ends. The standards must match. Additionally, it is necessary to distinguish between male and female connectors. For example, if the socket of the PDU is C13, then the plug of the connection cable should be selected as C14.
Generally, depending on the power of the equipment, the power of switches or servers in the current computer room ranges from several hundred watts to several kilowatts. The power transfer cables for PDUs usually choose 1.0mm² (10A) /1.5mm² (16A) cables, which can meet the needs of the vast majority of equipment.
