The KPB385-100 series is a Type 2/Class II Surge Protection Device (SPD) specifically engineered for low-voltage AC power systems. With a maximum discharge current of 100 kA (8/20 μs) and a low voltage protection level of ≤ 1800 V, this SPD delivers robust protection against transient overvoltages caused by lightning strikes and switching surges.

Designed with a modular structure, the KPB385-100 integrates built-in overcurrent protection and responds in just 25 ns to rapidly absorb and divert dangerous surge energy, safeguarding your electrical equipment from permanent damage or operational downtime.

Ideal for single-phase 230 V and three-phase 400V AC power systems, this Type 2 SPD is perfectly suited for secondary (Stage 2) lightning protection in commercial, industrial, and residential installations.Installed as Stage 2 protection downstream of the main service panel, Type 2/Class II surge protector ensures seamless integration with Type 1 SPDs (for primary protection) to form a complete, multi-level surge protection solution. Installation and Maintenance of AC Power Surge Protector(T2, 100kA)

- Installation must be carried out under power-off conditions. Secure the surge protector KPB385-100 and circuit breaker to the rail respectively, and connect L, N, PE, etc. as shown in the diagram.

- Regularly check the working status of the surge protector. Replace the product immediately if it fails or is damaged.
